Brand Terms
Version 1, last updated
These terms say how a business on Mivento treats the personal data of the people who use Mivento. They apply to every business account and everyone on its team. Mivento's privacy policy says what Mivento collects and who can see it. These terms make a business protect what its team sees just as well. In these terms, "Mivento", "we" and "us" mean Mivento, Inc.
Who these terms cover
A business account holds a business's brands and its team: the owners, admins and team members who run events and Rewardships for those brands. In these terms, "your business" means the business account and everyone on its team. "People" means anyone who uses Mivento.
Who accepts them
- Whoever creates a business account in the Mivento app accepts these terms for the business, and for everyone the business adds to its team.
- When we change what a business agrees to, the version number above goes up, and one of the business's owners accepts the new version in the Mivento app.
What your team sees
Through your brands, your team sees personal data about people who use Mivento:
- who's invited to, RSVPs to and checks in at your brands' events;
- for people who join one of your brands' Rewardships, their points, tier and history in it. Your team can also look up their check-ins at your brands' events since they joined, up to 180 days back. Each lookup is logged, and the person can see the latest ones in Mivento;
- the photos, videos and comments people share at your brands' events, and who claimed which checklist item.
Your team sees this inside Mivento. Mivento doesn't send it anywhere else.
What your business agrees to
- Use it only inside Mivento, to run your events and Rewardships.
- Don't export, sell or share it. Don't copy it out of Mivento, sell it, or give it to anyone outside your team.
- Delete any copy on request. If any of it ends up outside Mivento anyway, delete it when the person it's about, or Mivento, asks.
- Follow the privacy policy. Protect people's data at least as well as Mivento's privacy policy says Mivento does, and respect the choices people make in Mivento, such as ending a Rewardship.
- Answer for your team. Your business is responsible for what everyone on its team does with people's data. Remove people from your team when they stop working for it.
- Tell us about a problem. If someone misuses people's data, or it reaches anyone outside your team, email privacy@mivento.co right away.
If a business breaks these terms
Mivento can stop its team seeing people's data, or close its business account.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we change the date at the top. If a change affects what your business agrees to, the version number goes up too, and an owner accepts the new version in the Mivento app.
